Artist Statement: I really love cars especially special ones like this 1988 Monte Carlo SS. I took this picture this last summer and it had really great contrast in it. The etching process took a while because I really wanted to fill in those dark areas and make my lines straight and deep. It was kind of difficult when it came to watercolor painting this car because I have only seen this car in white and I didn't want to only use one color so I made it multiple colors and I think the colors I chose made it stand out and I like that because it kind of shows my personality because I also like to stand out.
